3D Heat Mix is a nonflammable furnace gas that is a blend of argon and hydrogen used for metal sintering for metal injection molding, and fused filament fabrication and binder jet additive manufacturing applications. The gas removes oxidation from the surface of parts, and enhances the strength of printed metal parts.
Airgas operates its own dedicated blending facilities as well as maintains a national network of blending technology to ensure accurate, consistent production.
